The Resort is very convenient to get to from the capital, Dhaka, located right at the end of the highway N8 (Dhaka-Mawa Highway) only 38km from the heart of Dhaka taking no more than an hour to get here.

HOTEL POLICIES

Child Policy	Children aged from 0-6 years will not be charged for the stay in the room. Children under 7-12 years may be accommodated in the same room as parents at no extra cost but breakfast included.
Modification policy	Before 72 hours, depends on availability.
Cancellation Policy	One night room charge will be applicable for Non arrivals/Cancellation unless hotel received cancellation notice in writing 72 hours prior to the hotel check in time by the guest or the organization concerned.

Details Information Of Baba Adam's Mosque

Baba Adam’s Mosque is a Jami Mosque situated in the village of Kazi Qasba under Rikabibazar Union in Rampal thana of Munshiganj District in Bangladesh. It was built in 1483 A.D. The mosque was constructed as a Jami mosque by Malik Kafur. The grave of Saint Baba Adam Shahid stands near by the mosque. The mosque is named after Saint Baba Adam Shahid.

History

The mosque is the only surviving example in the ancient Hindu settlement of Rampal upazilla in Munshiganj district. It is named after locally famous Saint Baba Adam Shahid, who died in a holy war against a local Hindu Raja. The mosque was built in 888A.H/1483-84 A.d by Malik Kafur during the origin of Sultan Jalal al-din Fath Shah (Ahmed 1960:118). The grave of Saint Baba Adam Shahid stands near by the mosque. Baba Adam's Mosque is now a protected monument under the Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh. It has been renovated and is in a comparatively good state of preservation. Sourabh Singh Sumal 

Architecture

This mosque with six bays and a rectangular plan (10.35*11.45 sq. m) is covered by six domes of identical height. The six domes are placed in two rows. The arches of the mosque belong to the pointed double-centre style. There are three attractive arches in the eastern façade of the mosque, and there are three mihrabs in the western wall straight opposite to the arches. Baba Adam mosque differs from the contemporary Gaudiya brick structures. There are moulding, shallow niches, and string courses in the outer wall.^[5] All the entrances and mihrabs are recessed within rectangular frames. The south and north walls contain rectangular niches. The mosque does not have a minaret. On both sides of the central doorway there are two multi-cusped rectangular panels. The arches are supported on faceted small pillars and decorated with a beautiful terracotta floral design and a hanging motif. This type of facade decoration is also found in shahjadpur mosque (Serajganj).

How to go Padma Resort

Padma Resort is just 7 Km left of Mawa transit point just the opposite bank of Lohajong police station. It may take about 100 minutes from Dhaka to reach Ghordaur Bazaar adjacent to Padma resort if you use private vehicle. If you wish to use public vehicle like Bus to reach Padma Resort, It is better to use Gangchil Paribahan start from Gulistan, Dhaka to reach Ghordaur Bazar. It takes Tk 65/person as hire. From Ghordaur Bazar, Thana-ghat, own boats of the resort are ready to ferry you.

Foods and Drinks

There is a well furnished restaurant maintained by resort authority facilitates foods and drinks for the guests in a panoramic environment. But it’s a little bit costly. As alternative you may take meal in Takdir Hotel or Padma View Food Court in Ghordaur Bazaar. Fresh Hilsha fish from Padma River is available here.

Under the Dhaka Division of Bangladesh, there are 17 districts available, and Munshiganj is one of them. Also this district is just adjacent to the Capital City Dhaka. Long time back this district was renowned as "Bikrampur" or "Vikrampur". Now a days, people of that places still feel proud to call them from "Bikrampur".

How to reach:

There are several transport is available from Dhaka to Munshiganj. The best two bus services are "Nayan Paribahan" and "Dhaka Transport", both of the buses used to start from "Gulistan" of dhaka. It will cost you 30-40 taka, and will require 1 hrs to 2 hrs bus journey depending upon the road traffic. Also there are other bus service is available from "Postogola" of dhaka, one of the bus is "Gangchil" available from that area.

Also you can hire CNG auto rickshaw from the "Postogola", and it will take you 250-350 to take you at Muktarpur bridge. Remember, if you are hiring CNG, make sure who will provide the toll of the bridge. For you information, the toll fee is 20 taka. So negotiate with the driver of CNG about who will provide the toll.
